I was curious about this too, but I love Brent's Ray Bans. I have pair of Ray Bans too, but mine look a lot closer to the style like the one Ness is wearing.... Yeah, the magazine is not that great; however this picture is one of the best of the band that I have ever seen!

<font size="2" face="verdana, arial">Ness wears Persol. In not sure of what the model # his are but here is a pix I just took of mine, Persol 1803. Not sure about Johnny and Charlie, they look similar to the Persol style but can't tell for sure. persol
